Product Description
The refrigerant gas R-134a is an HFC that replaces R-12 in new installations.
Like all HFC refrigerants, it does not damage the ozone layer. It has great thermal and chemical
stability, low toxicity and is non-flammable, as well as having excellent compatibility with most
materials.
Its classification is A1 group L1. It is not miscible with traditional R-12 oils (mineral and alkylbenzene); instead its miscibility with polyester oils (POE) is complete, so it must always be used with this type of oils. R-134a is an alternative refrigerant to R-12 for the retrofitting of the installation or for installations new. It is widely used in automobile air conditioning and domestic refrigerators. Meets or exceeds AHRI 700-2006 and SAE J 2276 purity standards
